Do women lose their beauty as they age?

I think everyone loses looks and beauty as they grow older, but their personality remains. That is why it is important to have an interesting character to build yourself up where you’re pleasant and civil with the people you come into contact with.

Physical beauty has a life span, a time limit to it, although I think beauty never completely disappears. It is about how well you look after yourself. If you take great care of your body and your emotional health, you will still look lovely and decent and still well put together.

It is the years of self-neglect and life stresses that make women age poorly. A well-balanced diet and moderate exercise and weight will carry your body a lot longer than you think and still looking good and gracious.

Am I sure you’ve heard of the saying “men age like fine wine and women like cottage cheese? “ Oh really? That’s so not true. I would love to believe it’s not. It’s about self-care and investing in your well being as a woman. Every person ages differently from the other.

I’ve seen older women at 79 and 80 still looking beautiful and full of life. I’ve also seen women the same age as above but tired and ready to give up on life.

As women, the responsibility of childbearing and looking after everyone is never-ending; hence we tend to forget ourselves and put everyone first and ourselves last.

That trajectory is now changing as women realise they have to take care of themselves too and focus on things that make them happy.

I am slightly under 50, and as I approach the big five 0, I’m still pretty cool and beautiful. I think.

I don’t think I‘ve aged as much as I should have because I’ve made a conscious decision to look after myself. Both physically and mentally. There are days when I feel pretty ancient, but it’s normal.

Everyone has their good and bad days.

I’m three years shy of 50 with a few grey hairs, which I just dyed, by the way. Not that I’m fearful of getting old (er), but I thought I could do a different hairstyle.

I love getting older; the wisdom and peace that comes with it are AMAZING!!

Where people give a shit, I don’t!! Where people doubt themselves, I’m pretty sure of things. I like the confidence that being older brings and taking everything in my stride without getting too frazzled.

As I get older, I’m very kind to myself. I allow myself to experience life and to fail at things and not beat myself up about it.

At 47, I feel 27 and pretty much still excited about life and what It has to offer.

I think women only lose their beauty when they become self-critical. Loathing yourself instead of celebrating yourself. Saying you can’t do something because you are too old is a lame excuse. Age is just a number. You can still have fun and enjoy life if you take care of yourself well.

From my perspective, women-only lose their beauty if they let themselves go and stop enjoying life. As for me, I’m still enjoying life and feeling groovy.

Once in a while, I meet people I was with at school or knew from my childhood, and they look so old that I get back home and look at myself in the mirror to see if I look old tired and worn out, and I see the complete opposite.

Life beauty and everything else responds to how you live your life. A life lived well shows itself in your physical appearance. The skin also tells a story. If you care for your skin, it will show too.

Ageing is about how you make it. Women grow old gracefully and beautifully.
